Kataklysm - Shadows & Dust - 2002

Kataklysm - Shadows & Dust - 2002

Kataklysm started life as a very different monster. Early on the band was quite experimental and even slightly eccentric with former frontman Sylvain Houde’s maniacal vocals. By the time Shadows & Dust was released the band had reduced their sound into a blunt force instrument to induce maximum trauma. Shadows & Dust is utterly relentless from start to finish and in its aftermath, ultimately, we’re all dead men.
